About AIPress — Daily AI News and Analysis
Who We Are
AIPress is a daily AI news and analysis publication. We cover the frontier AI industry — model releases, benchmark results, company strategy, safety research, infrastructure, and the policy debates that shape how AI gets built and deployed.
This is not an aggregator. Every post is original reporting and analysis, written from primary sources: company launch announcements, researcher essays, official submissions, earnings calls, and on-the-record interviews. When we summarize someone else's reporting, we say so and link to it.
What We Cover
AIPress focuses on six core areas:
- AGI and frontier models — who is building them, what they can do, and what the labs say about when they'll arrive.
- ChatGPT and OpenAI — product launches, API changes, pricing, safety disclosures, and company strategy.
- Claude and Anthropic — model releases, benchmark positions, safety research, threat reports, and company positioning.
- AI infrastructure — data centers, GPUs, chip economics, compute supply, and the business of AI compute (Nvidia, AMD, cloud providers, and the hardware startups moving into the space).
- AI safety and security — threat intelligence, misuse cases, alignment research, and the real-world incidents that show what frontier models are actually used for.
- DeepSeek and open-weight models — the Chinese frontier industry, open-source releases, benchmark coverage, and the open-vs-closed debate.
How We Work
We publish daily, on the news. When something happens in the AI industry, we write about it the same day — with numbers, named sources, and an honest line of analysis. We do not chase clicks with vague headlines. We do not republish press releases as if they were reporting.
Every post includes:
- Specific figures (benchmark scores, prices, dates, percentages) inline in the body text, not only in tables.
- Named sources with named people — researchers, engineers, executives, companies.
- An honest-caveats section where the evidence is incomplete or the story has edge cases.
- A source list at the bottom with named outlets and dates.
Our Standards
- Originality. Every post is written from sources, not scraped, spun, or auto-generated without human analysis.
- Accuracy. We quote primary sources directly where we can. When we paraphrase, we make clear it is a paraphrase.
- Context. We give the reader the surrounding facts — the numbers that came before, the people involved, the commercial incentives at work.
- No promotional content. We do not write sponsored posts. If a company sends us materials, we use them only as sources, not as copy.
- No prohibited content. No gambling, adult content, violence promotion, drug or medical advice, hate speech, or illegal activity. When we cover sensitive topics — AI misuse, cybersecurity incidents, disinformation — we report on them, we do not instruct on them.
